DON’T do survey websites, alot are scams, or they are just completely misleading, I would recommend if he is good with typing, try stay at home program for typing up reports for money.

At 13 it’s quite hard to make money all by yourself because just accepting payment, be it PayPal or credit cards, requires you to be over the age of 18 in the UK. If you have you’re parent’s support then they could always setup a PayPal account for you however they then become reliable for everything, such as transactions, you do over the internet.
So if this is all OK then you need an idea? Well again at 13 it’s made harder, but you can either offer a service or product.
By products you can sell stuff you like to make in your own time or stuff you know has an audience and you have a good profit margin or perhaps even eBooks. If you have information you think people would like to know create an eBook and sell it that way you don’t need to pay expenses for packaging and shipping.
By services this includes stuff such as web design, web hosting, consulting and of course as you mentioned surveys. I really wouldn’t suggest surveys but that’s just my 2 cents. I also would stay specific. It’s better to offer, for example, web design than say offering All web stuff here from coding to design; again just my two cents.
So now you have an idea and you want to make money! Well if you want to make money it is almost inevitable that you have to spend money. You will have to buy a domain name if you want your website to gain respect and popularity, advertising will be needed otherwise you will find yourself becoming annoyed at the mere 1 unique per day and web hosting. All of this costs money. You will also need to understand HTML, CSS and possibly PHP to create your website otherwise you may have to splash out for web design.
Nonetheless, if you have done all this and are ready to go? Why not give it a shot!

At 13 your brother is still studying and don`t have much time to play on the net for to long.Can`t you help him by letting him do something for you and then you pay him? (A little extra won`t hurt if he`s really trying)..He can also do some chores for orher members in the family and build up a good saving towards his laptop…

the 1st site: you don’t get much money out of it – usually 50p, sometimes a pound, and 2 pounds if they want u 2 film a 30 sec video. you also get 5 pounds 4 referring 3 friends. remember when you register to type in where it asks you for a code.
there is also another site that does surveys for kids. their surveys give you anything between 50p and a pound. they give you a pound for every frind you refer and joins.
i know its not much but every penny counts. he can always do a paper round and odd jobs for the neighbours to get a bit more money.

i sighnd up to this site today where u earn money by sining up to other sites that offer u to..u dont get much at first but it will add up over time..a tip is to refer other ppl to the site and u earn 20% of what they earn if theyre an active member on the site…i think its reli gud..so u should give it a go….

umm hi.. im 13 yrs old and ive been doing these online surveys 4 money 4 about 2 months now.. but because i hardly go on it i only made $13.50 for the 1st month because i wasnt sure if they was really gonna send me my check.. so i only made about 13 dollars… but this month i did alot more surveys and made $30.25 and they send me my checks on the 15 of every month… soo i just got my check like 2 days ago

If a company requires initial payment from you in order to work for them, they are not legitimate.
There are a few legitimate data entry companies but are not hiring and have large waiting lists (1-2yrs). The majority of data entry jobs you seen online are scams. A real company will want you to have skills inc fast typing, may want you to know MS Excel, and will usually ask that you have high speed internet. Once in a long while you may found one online on a job website but thats rare.
If you do an advanced search on yahoo, you will find previous answers, sometimes the info on these is good as the info they gave is likely to have been verified if the answer was voted as ‘Best’.

The easiest and most profitable way to make a living online is by creating and selling your own products.
Many people get scared when they think about creating their own products but it is really much easier than you would think.

Hi, you could try – they post a lot of international survey websites on there that only require you to be 12 or older to sign up for.
The problem is, being 13 you won’t make as much as you would 18. However, a lot of survey sites include referral programs, meaning if you sign other people up under you you’ll make a % of what they make. I make about 200$ a month off of referrals – that’s only becuase i’ve worked at it though. It is possible, but it takes time – it won’t make you super rich super easily.

In his case i’d stick to something local doing little jobs for neighbors and such for money. At 13, sadly especially in the UK, you’re not going to find opportunities online. Even if you could sign up for a survey site your brother wouldn’t be making near enough money to save up for a laptop and i’m sure referral sale for items have a mininum age also.
So yeah, try making the money offline. There’s much more opportunity and you can also play on people emotions since your face-to-face with them
